Sometimes the work knows what it's about long before the artist does.

The reFramed Drawings

One week in Tuscany at reFramed Global Artmodeling Summit in April 2026. Five days, six hours of drawing each day, in a space that changed everything about how I normally draw.

I went looking for the disruption, thinking I could draw and still keep my insides in. Strangeness infected the marks, an unfamiliar disorientation. It was only seeing the drawings en masse that I realised they had magicked a kind of equilibrium. Somewhere along the spiral the work stopped belonging to isolated midnight sessions and became an archive, recognisably mine.

I left the drawings in Italy and carried them home in memory. I've been excavating ever since.

Six drawings have been curated for chine collé editioning.
